Seeley to ride Powertoolmate V2 Ducati in International North West 200 Supersport races
Alastair Seeley will ride one of the all new Ducati Panigale V2 machines in this year’s International North West 200 Supersport races. The bike is a collaboration between Moto Rapido, who run Ducati machinery in the British Superbike and Supersport Championship, and Moneymore based TAS Racing. This investment is being title sponsored by Wayne Cox’s Powertoolmate company.
15 of Seeley’s record breaking 27 NW200 wins have come in the Supersport class on Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki machinery, so the Carrick ace will be looking to add some exotic Italian flavour to the top step of the podium at this year’s event.
“The Supersport class has given me some great memories over the years and despite my 15 wins in the class, I have to admit I’m really excited about getting to ride the V2 Ducati. With the expertise of both Moto Rapido and TAS Racing running this package and the support of Powertoolmate it’s a dream come true for me; to add this beautiful bit of racing machinery to my Superstock and Superbike efforts for this year’s International North West 200 with TAS Racing.”

“We at Powertoolmate are delighted to be headline partner of this very exciting collaboration. Alastair is a bit of a North West 200 legend and being able to support this venture with such a beautiful bit of machinery in the V2 Ducati is fantastic.
My first taste of road racing was at last year’s Isle of Man TT but I’m now looking forward to spending some time on the north coast of Northern Ireland in a few week’s time and see the Powertoolmate Ducati and Alastair in action.”WAYNE COX POWERTOOLMATE MANAGING DIRECTOR
