With great sadness today we say goodbye to Mr Nick

With great sadness today we say goodbye to Mr Nick Barnes formerly of Suzuki UK.
Nick was hugely instrumental in bringing TAS Racing back to Suzuki in 2001 after an introduction was made by former Suzuki factory team manager Rex White.
Nick carried a wealth of experience in racing and on top of providing continued support during our early years with Suzuki, he became a close personal friend with advice always at hand even during our more recent years in racing.
I will be forever grateful to Nick for the opportunity provided and on behalf of TAS Racing I would like to offer sincere condolences to Nick’s Wife Judie and the Family circle at this very sad time🙏

@daveytodd74 takes the blue riband Isle of Man Senior TT win for Milwaukee BMW, rounding out a superb week for Davey and TAS Racing. The team’s 21st TT victory and a first Senior win since 2004. A fitting end to the 2024 TT taking the top step of the podium for our title partner @milwaukeetool_uk in their sponsored race.

What a race.. an absolute hectic battle with Dunlop, Dean and Hicky.. with a few issues in the pits and losing a load of time, fighting back and ended up 2nd on the podium for the first superbike race of the Isle of Man TT 🇮🇲

What an incredible race to be involved in. Despite losing 17 seconds in the pits @daveytodd74 took second place, losing out by just 5 seconds, with a new personal best lap at 135.664mph for Milwaukee BMW.

@daveytodd74 and Milwaukee BMW were in top form at a sun drenched International @north_west_200 over the weekend – taking a double in the Superstock class and three second places in the Superbike races.

Todd made the Superstock races all his own with subliminal top steps in both races on Thursday and Saturday aboard the Milwaukee BMW M1000RR.

In the Superbike class he fought tooth and nail with BSB championship leader Glenn Irwin around the 8.9-mile circuit in all three races, losing out by a whisker . It was a Superbike masterclass from both and sets Todd up well for the upcoming Isle of Man TT at the end of the month.
